Our story
Tengeza Labs started as a friendship in campus, long before it was a company.
Origin
Paul and Isaiah met as undergraduates at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). What began as a campus friendship carried through separate career paths, until the two decided to team up and build a company together.
Tengeza Labs is the result: a growing, engineering-led studio named after the Swahili word for making, building and fixing. That's the mandate: find something broken or missing, and build the version that should exist.
